Staccato is a Chennai based band, popularizing the genre Contemporary Classic, keen on giving an experiential listening to its audience. This experience promises new age interpretation of Carnatic Classical Krithis, seamless amalgamation of nostalgic film music with a contemporary twist and mellifluous originals composed for social causes that has been well received by the band’s fans and followers. Driven by zeal and passion to explore and learn new forms of music and incorporating our cultural roots make Staccato a very unique band from Chennai. The band will perform in Hindi other Indian regional languages.

Some of notable performances by Staccato band at prestigious venues are as follows:

• The only band to have been chosen from India to perform at the 2012 London Olympics
• Represented India at the World Freestyle Percussion event ‘Tum Tum Pa’ conducted by Redbull at Rio De Janerio, Brazil.
• Performed in London, Rio De Janerio, Muscat, Malaysia, Bali and all over India.
